Manufacturing Manager

Very competitive package + bonus + benefits

East Midlands

Our client, part of a highly regarded and successful Global Group, produces precision metal components and assemblies for critical applications - technically sophisticated components and materials that are vital to key end user markets that include aerospace, power generation and equipment. It has an enviable customer base and strong support from the Group, which owns a significant number of UK based operations.

As a result of sustained growth, and the resultant restructuring necessary to meet the demands of further business expansion, an experienced, high calibre Manager is now required to head up a production cell comprising 50 people operating on shifts. Processes include 2/3 axis CNC machining, bar fed machining and traditional practices.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Director, you will be tasked with complete responsibility, from order book to dock - effectively a “P & L”, and will manage all issues including a high level of product complexity requiring batch processing and stock control. Commercial acumen is a “must have” - the ability to establish close working relationships with a prestigious but demanding customer base. You will share the vision to deliver an impressive growth plan.

You will demonstrate a successful track record in leading change and implementing best practice whilst delivering to KPIs. Previous experience brought from the aerospace / automotive industry may be useful.

You will undoubtedly need to possess the talent and potential to become a key member of the management team and achieve further career development within the Group.

If you have the right background and the ability to deliver then please apply in strict confidence to Steve Hicks, attaching your CV and a brief covering note, including details of your most recent salary package and notice period quoting ref. 71676/FW, to exec@factura.co.uk
